I've decided to move this blog from Google's Blogger platform to one that runs on my own server and that is generated by a marvellous piece of software called Pelican.
I'll probably write a blog post about Pelican, but for now it's enough to say that all existing post and image content will be present in the new blog and it will be at the same root URL as before: http://blog.mcnalu.net
Direct links to old posts probably won't work, but the old blog will remain as it is, residing on blogger.com, unchanging, preserved in aspic at http://oldblog.mcnalu.net, until such time as Google decides it should no longer exist.
